Hello,

August 2011

keep epoxy cool in hot weatherImportant Memo:

While we're in the midst of the "dog days of summer" now is the time when very hot weather causes the opposite problem of handling epoxy than you have in the winter. Remember to KEEP EPOXY COOL and limit the volume of your glue lines. For every 10° Fahrenheit you will increase the set off time of the Fortress 4020 epoxy by 20 minutes. The perfect ambient temperature is 70°F.

If the Fortress 4020 epoxy is in a truck at 90°F the temperature of the epoxy could be over 100°F thus reducing your working time.
