Fortress Stabilization is pleased to announce the Fortress Shear Pin Kit
We have been installing shear pins for over ten years using the traditional grout and steel rebar. This kit simplifies the process. A standard kit is 3, 700ml by 700ml tube sets of Fortress #571 Epoxy Grout which in cured state has a compressive strength of over 8,000 psi. The grout is pumped neat and silica sand is added 1 to 1 weight ratio which is pre-packaged along with 16” 1/4" carbon fiber bar. Sold in 3 pack units.
Shear pins are used when a bottom wall shear is present or predictable.
