Looking for feedback on the new straps going from 18 tows to 21 tows in grid straps. Has this saved you on epoxy volume?
Fortress Case Study Scope: Lead paint was ground off with Hepa filtration grinding system. A second Hepa filtration vacuum was running to eliminate any escaped dust. Wall was ground flush for Fortress installation. Back wall; had to be re-tuckpointed and then parge coated with hydraulic cement. Conclusion: There are a few challenges with brick foundations. You have old paint and/or fired clay blush to remove. Once achieved, it is recommended to level off all mortar joints at strap install locations with hydraulic cement, as was done on the back wall of this case study. This will prevent throwing too much dust as well as lengthy grinding/prep time. |
